The Zonal Coordinator, Zone ‘À’ of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs Charles Orbih, has written a congratulatory letter to Comptroller-General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi on his election yesterday, Saturday, June 28, 2025, as the Chairperson of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Council.
In a copy of the letter sighted by MARITIME MATTERS, Orbih stated: “On behalf of the entire Zone ‘A’ of the Nigeria Customs Service, I write to extend our heartfelt congratulations on your unanimous election as Chairperson of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Council. “Your appointment to this prestigious position represents the global recognition of your exceptional leadership vision and the transformative work you have accomplished in modernizing the Nigeria Customs Service over the past two years.
