    My Mission Is To Help Tornadoes Beat Relegation – Ikechukwu

    Newly recruited Niger Tornadoes forward Nwani Ikechukwu has assured that his goals will propel the Ikon Allah Boys to retain her NPFL status this season.

    Nwani, who was league winner with Akwa United and formally a Plateau United forward joined the Minna based outfit from Sunshine Stars during the mid season transfer.

    The former Lori FC of Armenia forward, said, he is aware of the task ahead before pitching tent with Niger Tornadoes and is hopeful of making an impact to preserve the team’s league status.

    In a chat with Tornadoes Media Nwani said…

    “I’m On a mission to help Niger Tornadoes beat relegation this 2023/2024 season and hoping my goals and teamwork will help the team achieve that aim.”

    “I know the current position of the team and the huge task required to get the team out of that position, so my aim is to score the goals that would win matches for my team.”

    “I pray God to give me the strength and grace to play my part to achieving the survival.”

    Nwani Ikechukwu Williams is expected to come good for the Coach Majin Mohammed’s side, having identified scoring as the team’s major undoing and the former Sunshine Stars man is expected to join forces in shouldering and delivering the team’s scoring responsibilities.

    Niger Tornadoes are billed to take on Abia Warriors this Sunday at the ABS Kaduna, in their first home game of the second stanza of the NPFL24 season.
