Moses Simon Sets For Nantes Exit

After helping French Ligue One side FC Nantes to survive the drop this season, Super Eagle winger Moses Simon is among the four players that will depart the club this summer.

Simon who joined the Canaries from Spanish side UD Levante a few seasons ago had a season to forget, as the club fought relegation all through.

According to the French football news outlet L’ Equippe, FC Nantes management has tried all that they could to persuade Simon to stay but it seems that the Nigerian international had made up his mind to leave.

“Moses Simon will not be retained.

“Moses Simon, a major player in the beautiful 2021/22 season of the Canaries, has been in difficulty this season. The Nigerian failed to be so hard-hitting in duels on his left side. Nantes number 27 has not found the net in the league since November 13 (2-2 against AC Ajaccio)”, the club said.
