The House of Representatives hopeful for Ibadan Southwest/Northwest Federal Constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. MKO Abimbola ABOGUN, has congratulated workers across Oyo State on the occasion of this year’s International Workers’ Day, commending their dedication and invaluable contributions to societal growth.

In a statement issued to mark the global celebration, Abogun described workers as the driving force of economic development and effective governance. He noted that their commitment, sacrifice, and resilience remain indispensable to the continued progress of Oyo State and the nation at large. He encouraged workers to remain steadfast, diligent, and optimistic despite prevailing challenges, expressing confidence in a brighter future through collective effort and purposeful leadership.

The APC chieftain also called on his constituents to uphold the values of hard work, integrity, and unity, stressing that meaningful and sustainable development can only be achieved through collaboration between leaders and the people. He emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence and mutual support among residents of Ibadan Southwest Northwest local government areas.

Abogun further used the occasion to welcome his constituents into the new month of May, expressing hope that it would bring renewed opportunities, progress, and divine blessings to individuals, families, and the constituency at large. He urged the people to remain focused on their aspirations while trusting God for guidance and success.

“As we celebrate the dignity of labour, I encourage every worker and constituent to remain committed to excellence and service. May this new month usher in prosperity, good health, and fulfillment for every household,” he stated.

He however, reaffirmed his commitment to championing policies and initiatives that will enhance workers’ welfare and empower constituents, pledging continued engagement with the people to build a more inclusive, progressive, and prosperous federal constituency.
