The Interim Management Committee of Lobi Stars Football Club, FC of Makurdi has suspended the Technical Adviser of the team, Coach Abubakar Bala Mohammed, citing poor performance as the reason for his sack.

In a statement signed by Emmanuel Uja, Director, Media and Communication, Lobi Stars, said the decision was taken after an emergency meeting of the Committee on Monday, after which it ordered the indefinite suspension of Coach Mohammed.
    ‎
The Committee argued that it became necessary to relieve the Coach of his position having played six matches and earned only seven points in the best of 18, placing the club on 6th position out of 8 clubs, therefore it decided to suspend him, indefinitely.

Uja explained that “The management cited poor performance as reason for the suspension, having played 6 games and earned only 7 points best of 18 and placed 6th position out of 8 clubs.
    ‎
‎”The suspended Technical adviser has been directed to hand over to the Chief Coach of the club John Onuh (Abacha) with immediate effect”, the Media Director stated.
