Manchester City have completed a move for Mateo Kovacic from Chelsea.

The Blues will receive a £25 million fixed fee plus £5 million in add-ons.

Kovacic has signed a contract with the Premier League champions until June 2027.

“This is a brilliant move for me. Anyone who has watched this team under Pep knows how good they are; for me, they are the best in the world. To be joining this squad really is a dream for any footballer,” Kovacic said at his unveiling on Tuesday.

The Croatian made over 200 appearances for Chelsea after arriving from Real Madrid in 2019, helping the Blues win the Champions League and Europa League.
