    Katsina Govt Set To Train 13,000 Women, Youths In Skills Acquisition

    The Katsina state government has approved the training of over thirteen thousand
    women and youths on various skills acquisition programmes in the state.
    Hajiya Aisha Aminu
    Malumfashi, the Director
    General of the State Entrepreneurship Development Agency dropped the hint during a
    public lecture organized by
    the National Youths Council
    of Nigeria, Malumfashi LG
    branch at the conference hall,
    Tsamiyya Comprehensive
    health centre.
    Hajiya Aisha who noted
    that, the participants include
    ten thousand women and
    three thousand youths, explained that, the centre for
    the development of Entrepreneurship had agreed to
    conduct the training free of
    charge, while the state government would shoulder the cost.
    She said the beneficiaries
    would be selected from the
    thirty four local government
    council across the state.
    Alhaji Usman Musa Rugoji, the Malumfashi LG Chairman, in his remarks, assured
    of the council readiness to
    frequently conduct similar
    exercise to enable the people
    become self reliant.
    In another development,
    the Young Muslims Congress
    of Nigeria in collaboration
    with Munazamatul Fityanul
    Islam have conducted a special preaching session to pray
    for peace and progress of the
    state and the nation at large.
    Alhaji Ibrahim Sani, the
    Charanchi Local council
    Chairman in his address,
    urged the people to intensify
    prayers for peaceful coexistence and God’s divine intervention to overcome the
    present hardship faced in
    the state and the country in
    general.
