Former World Boxing Federation (WBF) Champion Ridwan ‘Scorpion’ Oyekola has expressed appreciation to the CEO of Jellynaf Global, Jelili Igbogila, for his support towards his preparation for the eight-round national lightweight boxing contest against Tosin Asaigbovo.

Oyekola, who had been in the Asian country of Japan for almost three years, will be fighting again on the 29th of December at the Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos Island.

The boxing champion, however, thanked his fan, Jelili Igbogila, on his official social media handle for his huge support since he has returned to Nigeria, while assuring his teeming fans that he will feature in some bouts, especially on the 29th of this December, when his Nigerian fans will have the opportunity of watching him live in the ring again.

“I’m most grateful to all my fans at home, especially for their prayers for me while I’m in Japan. But I must especially thank the CEO of Jellynaf Global, Jelili Igbogila, popularly known as Jay Pawpaw, and Aliu Ayinde, popularly known as ‘ADEDIBU ELEPO,’ for their love and support of my boxing career,” said Scorpion.

He, however, hinted to the sporting press that his fight that was supposed to come up in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, last week has been postponed till further notice due to some logistical reasons from the promoter.
