High riding NPFL side Ikorodu City are reportedly leaving no stones unturned in preparations for the 2025/2026 season.

The Lagos based team that missed qualifying for the coming season’s continental football by the whiskers,  have been working harder behind the scene to beef up the team and make stronger impact on the new football season.

Speaking exclusively with this writer, head coach of the much-loved Lagos side Nurudeen Aweroro, disclosed that the management of the team are planning towards having a much better outcome in the coming football season.

“We are seriously preparing. We have been having trials with some new players in order to get exceptional players that would help us achieve our ambitions in the coming season.

The soft-spoken tactician added, “We’re going to do better than what we did last season. I want to assure our fans that the new season would to be better than last season.”
