The city of Ibadan will be enthralling on Sunday 3rd September as a snooker tournament that was conceptualized by a popular sports analyst, Idris Animasaun and powered by Olympus Lounge will be coming to an end with exciting games from the finalists.

The game of Snooker like most board games is internationally recognised, according to Animashaun who seemed not satisfied with the low awareness around the game saying “is not sufficiently played like it should in our darling state and across the federation.”

Hence the reason and the love of this beautiful game that Olympus Lounge, has decided to sponsor an elite contest in the ancient city of Ibadan in a tournament that has an all-star cast involving the likes of Hon Seun Fakorede, Hon. Kazeem Bolaninwa, 13th Disciple, Babatunmise, Pelumi MP3, Babatunde Ojobaro (Mister Rain) and a host of other notable names in the city of Ibadan.

Animashaun while speaking with the sporting press ahead of the closing ceremony for the event said “this special contest promises to not just promote the beautiful game of Snooker, but it also initiated to create, nurture friendship, power connect and provides a well deserved relaxation in an amazing ambience and environment belonging to class of its own”.

Idris Animashaun who is popularly known as ‘Longman’ also added that the competition that has began since four days ago at the Olympus Lounge located at Ago-Taylor, Akinyemi area Ibadan will be rounded up today Sunday with many exciting activities lined up to create a lasting memories in the minds of all the participants.
