The 13th edition of Africa Games will be officially declared open today , March 8, in Accra Ghana.

Ghana is hosting the 2024 African Games from March 8 to March 23.
Some games are ongoing , medals are beginning to trickle in different indoor games
Over 5,000 athletes and officials will compete in 29 sports in the competition.
Eight of them will qualify for the 2024 Olympics.
The University of Ghana Sports Stadium and and Rugby Field was commissioned
ahead of the competition.
The opening ceremony which will be graced by the president, important personalities in the world and continents sports community.
Some popular musicians are billed to perform .
