With a remarkable record of four knockouts from his five victories, undefeated welterweight Gabriel Yusuff is preparing for one of the biggest battle of his professional boxing career. The fight is scheduled for the second week of October in Lagos.
The boxing prodigy, known as GMercy, claims he has improved his fitness and ring skills for this historic evening while training at the famous Jalisco Boxing Gym in Oshodi, Lagos.
“This is the sixth stage in my career, and I’m willing to accept any possibility, therefore I’m ready for this fight. Speaking to the sports media at his training facility, GMercy declared, “I am going there to win; this is my time to shine.”
“I want to express my gratitude to my family, my management team, and everyone that helps me. After seeing me triumph in the ring, there will be a course soon that will make them happy once more,” he continued.
The knockout specialist has never been short on self-belief, but this time the stakes are real. Victory in October will not only crown his hard work and efforts but could also fast-track his climb into the sport’s elite.
His determination is palpable, and the anticipation surrounding the upcoming bout is electric. Fans and boxing enthusiasts alike are eager to see if he can deliver on his promise and solidify his place among the best in the Nigerian professional boxing.Photo caption: Gabriel ‘GMercy’ Yusuff being declared winner after defeating Akanji Israel by TKO_
