Former President of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Sir. Dr Honour Sirawoo (mni), has been appointed as the new Permanent Secretary in the Rivers State Ministry of Information and Communications..
As a thorough and well-bred journalist, Sirawoo who started his career as Sports Editor, Rivers State Television, rose to become SWAN national boss before attaining the height of being a member of the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
The vast experiences of Sirawoo had also seen him occupying the position of Press Secretary in the River State Deputy Governor’s Office.
