He went on to become a pivotal player, leading the team to victory in the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and scoring crucial goals at the FIFA World Cup, including braces against Argentina (2014) and Iceland (2018).Before his international success, Musa had an impressive club career. He played for CSKA Moscow in Russia, winning three Russian Premier League titles, and had stints in England with Leicester City, Netherlands with VV Venlo, and Turkey with Fatih Karagümrük and Sivasspor.
