A BRAZILIAN billionaire’s will has revealed football superstar Neymar as the sole heir to his mega fortune.

The 31-year-old businessman from Rio Grande do Sul registered his will at a notary’s office, leaving “all his worldly possessions” to the football icon.

The will was notified in June 2025, where the anonymous man named Neymar as his heir

The eye-watering fortune is believed to be £752 million, F5 reported.

The inheritance includes numerous assets, including properties, investments and shares in major companies.

The businessman, now deceased and childless, had the will authenticated in June 2025 with two witnesses and a substitute notary present.

In a legal document, the unidentified man stated he was “in full judgement, free from any coercion or inducement”, and that the decision was made solely due to his “identification with the player”.

“I like Neymar, I identify with him a lot,” the document read.

“He’s not self-serving, something rare these days.”

The anonymous man said he faced health problems and highlighted the relationship Neymar portrays to have with his family.

“His connection with his father reminds me a lot of the one I had with mine, who has passed away,” he said.

The will is currently before the Brazilian courts, in order to “confirm the player’s wishes” to officially name Neymar as the heir.

Despite widespread reporting in Brazil of the weighty inheritance left to him, Neymar has not publicly commented on the money.

If the will is approved by the courts, the transfer of assets would be subject to taxes and could lead to legal disputes.

In 2024, the 33-year-old player earned 665 million Brazilian Real (£90.7 million) through his monthly contracts with Saudi Arabian football team Al-Hilal.

According to Forbes, this made his the third highest-paid footballer of the year, coming ina behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Neymar, who previously worked on lucrative contracts at Barcelona, Paris St Germain and Al-Hilal, is currently hoping to represent Brazil in the 2026 World Cup.

The football hero went back to his childhood football club Santos in Brazil in February, announcing his return in a social media post captioned “I’m back”.
