Ex-Delta Lawmaker blasts Timi Frank Over call for Akpabio’s resignation …Says Ex-APC spokesman only seeking attention

Former member of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Dr Liege Lord Keston Muhammed Okoro has taken a swipe at former Deputy National Spokesman of the APC, Mr Timi Frank over his call for the resignation of the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio for lightheartedly informing his colleagues in the senate that their vacation allowances have been paid to them.

Hon Dr Keston Okoro, an APC chieftain took strongly to the call by Timi Frank for Akpabio to resign, describing the self-acclaimed activist and defender of democracy as an irresponsible noise-maker who is seeking to grab the headlines at every given opportunity by making a mountain out of a molehill.

He disclosed that all Nigerians understood the joke the senate president pulled on the floor of the senate over their due allowances for their vacation, stressing that even though Senator Akpabio made a detour on sensing that some senators protested over possible pressures from their constituents when it become public knowledge that they would be going home with some largesse, Timi Frank had decided to make so much noise about it to gain public attention.

‘’Timi Frank should stop his comic display of imaginary democratic credentials which he lack. The man is an enemy of southern Nigeria and since he was booted out of office as deputy National spokesman of the APC, he has not stop seeking relevance and public attention. In the last election, while the mood of the country was for a southerner to succeed former President Muhammadu Buhari who is from the North, he canvassed and campaigned vigorously for Atiku Abubakar who lined up his pockets with so much money.

‘’Timi Frank has no conscience and he is not touch with reality. For him to market another northerner in 2023 after voting Buhari in 2015 clearly indicates that Frank is a cheap blackmailer and conscienceless noisemaker with a price. Over a harmless joke by the Senate President, he now calls for his resignation, perhaps so that Akpabio could settle him. But he does not know the man Akpabio. He will not fall for Timi Frank’s notorious gimmicks. He has failed and he should be told in blunt terms that his types are not needed in the new democratic consciousness sweeping through the land.

‘’Senator Godswill Akpabio became the President of Senate because his colleagues have implicit confidence in him. No Timi Frank can bring him down. Even civil servants are entitled to annual leave allowances. Without mentioning it, Nigerians know that the senators must be entitled to some benefits for them to address sundry issues back home as they return to their constituencies. The types of Timi Frank are the reason why our public officers lie about their financial benefits. Timi Frank should bury his head in shame for playing the enemy of his people in the politics of 2023. His advice and suggestions are not needed in the current dispensation’’, Keston Okoro, National President of the National Youth Leadership Assembly added, warning Comrade Timi Frank to desist from his ‘’nebulous, obnoxious and detestable behavior so that he does not face the wrath of the people of southern Nigeria.

He also dismissed the call by Timi Frank for the Nigerian Labour Congress to severe communication with the Federal Government over the Fuel Subsidy Removal, noting that the call was mischievous and in the bad taste.

He maintained that the Tinubu’s administration was barely ten weeks old and would be needing time to overcome the challenges he met on ground, stressing that President Bola Tinubu took the right steps in removing the subsidy which was an avenue for a few to milk the country dry, assuring that in a matter of weeks, the gains of the subsidy removal would be felt by ordinary Nigerians as allocations to all tier of government improve while parliatives are on the way to bring down the cost of transportation for improved well being of the masses.

Hon. Keston Okoro, the National President of the Niger Delta Peace and Security Organization also condemned Timi Frank for his pretentious posture as an advocate of the masses whereas he was among those who brought the hardship on the people through his support for unpopular governments and corrupt public officials, warning him to desist from his evil ways so as not to face the wrath of the masses. He called on the Nigeria people to see Comrade Timi Frank as part of the oppressors who have been working to choke the ordinary people into untimely death, calling on all to give President Tinubu a little more time for the gains of his intelligent economic blueprint to manifest.
