The proprietor of Royal Sky Media Academy, Asiwaju Enitan Olusegun Bamidele, gave a stirring and thought-provoking speech to the departing students as they completed their final exams on Friday, December 12, 2025, filling the air with purpose, introspection, and a renewed dedication to excellence.

According to a report written by Olufemi Timothy Ogunyejo, Dean of Academic Planning and Programs, and made available to reporters, the speech, which was passionately and clearly delivered, was more than just a farewell speech; it was a strategic orientation for life outside of the classroom and a firm reminder of the standards expected of Royal Sky Media Academy graduates in the fast-paced world of media and communication.

In his speech, Asiwaju Enitan Olusegun Bamidele emphasized the depth, intensity, and deliberate structure of the Academy’s three-month professional programme, describing it as a foundational course in mass communication within a condensed period. According to him, every course and lecturer was carefully selected to expose students to the broad spectrum of mass communication practice, ensuring that no aspect of the industry would feel unfamiliar when they step into the professional field.

He urged the students to be wise, strategic, and intentional as they venture into the media world, stressing the importance of goal setting, self-development, and independence. One of the most striking moments of his address was his reminder that “entertainment is the only profession where there is no retirement,” a statement that underscored the need for continuous learning, reinvention, and humility.

He encouraged the students to approach the industry as lifelong learners, to enter the field as though they know nothing, absorb knowledge, adapt quickly, and work diligently toward self-reliance. He further highlighted the need for graduates to make themselves valuable assets within media organizations while remaining conscious of the occupational hazards associated with the profession.
In a commendable gesture aimed at rewarding excellence, the proprietor announced a 50% refund of school fees to the best graduating student, reinforcing the academy’s culture of merit, motivation, and reward for hard work.

Also, speaking at the event was the Dean of the Academy and Administrative and Academic Head of Operations, Mr. Olufemi Timothy Ogunyejo, who delivered a strong charge on professionalism, ethical conduct, and institutional pride. He encouraged the outgoing students to see themselves as lifelong ambassadors of Royal Sky Media Academy, whose conduct in the field would continually reflect the values and standards of their alma mater.
Mr. Ogunyejo stressed the importance of global ethical standards, discipline, integrity, and professionalism in the discharge of their duties, reminding the students that as practitioners of the Fourth Estate of the Realm, their responsibility to society must always outweigh personal interest.

The session was further enriched by contributions from seasoned professionals and tutors of the Academy, including Mr. Joy Akinlolu, Mr. Segun Fawole, Mr. Samson Akindele, Mr. Aderemi Ishola, Mrs. Adeolami Olatunji, Mr. Femi Oladipo, Barrister Olalekan Oguntayo, and Dr. Kunle Adeniji. They collectively reminded the students of the rigorous academic training, practical exposure, mentorship, and institutional investment that the Academy had poured into shaping them.

The tutors charged the students not to trivialize this investment but to honor it through excellence, continuous learning, and ethical practice wherever their careers may take them.

Royal Sky Media Academy is the training arm of EOB Multiconcepts, strategically located at No. 5, Niger West Area, opposite MRS Filling Station, Challenge, Ibadan. The Academy remains committed to producing industry-ready media professionals equipped with practical skills, ethical grounding, and global best practices.
