On Saturday, 28th February, friends, family, business associates, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the 52nd birthday of Dr Enitan Olusegun Bamidele, popularly known as EOB. The event held at the Music House Challenge, Ibadan, was not only a celebration of age but also recognition of a life dedicated to service, leadership, and impactful contributions to society.

Among the distinguished personalities who graced the occasion was the CEO, Footy Homes & Properties, Olamuyiwa Abdulazeez. Rev. Edward Kehinde Alabi, Amb. Yinka Agboola, Publisher Parrot Media Network, members of EOB Fans Club and renowned gospel musician and Chairman of Fresh FM Nigeria, Yinka Ayefele, whose heartfelt words added colour and depth to the celebration.

In his tribute, Ayefele expressed profound joy and gratitude for being part of EOB’s journey and success story. He described the celebrant as a man of vision, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the people. According to Ayefele, witnessing EOB’s growth over the years, from his early days in public service to becoming a respected media figure, has been both inspiring and rewarding.

Ayefele spoke passionately about EOB’s dedication to jobs and his consistent efforts to uplift others. He noted that leadership is not merely about holding positions of authority but about touching lives positively, a quality he believes EOB embodies. The musician commended the celebrant’s humility and accessibility, stating that despite his achievements, EOB remains approachable and grounded.

The gospel singer further emphasised that true success is measured by impact, and in his view, EOB’s legacy is already evident in the lives he has influenced and the projects he has championed. He expressed happiness at having witnessed different stages of EOB’s career and affirmed that being associated with such a purposeful individual is a privilege he does not take lightly.

Several clergy members also prayed for the celebrant’s continued knowledge, strength, and divine guidance. They wished him many more years of good service and future accomplishments.

Mr Olufemi Timothy Ogunyejo, Dean of the Academy and Administrative and Academic Head of Operations at Royal Sky Media Academy, owned by EOB, talked glowingly about his proprietor on behalf of his team, eliciting applause and reflection on their great love and affection for the celebrant.

The 52nd birthday party was more than just a formal gathering; it was a testimonial to ongoing friendship, shared ideals, and a collective appreciation for outstanding leadership, as evidenced by the numerous tributes presented.
