    Elegbeleye Hails Sunday Dare’s Appointment

Chairman of the nation’s first tie league, NPFL, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye, has congratulated the former minister of Sports and Youth development, Chief Sunday Akin Dare over his recent appointment as Special Adviser to president Bola Tinubu on Public Communication and national Orientation.

Elegbeleye, a former Director General of the National Sports Commission and member of the House of Representatives Sports Committee hailed president Tinubu for the appointment of the former minister, who he described as a renowned and experienced media expert who would add much value to the president’s administration.

Elegbeleye in a statement he signed on Friday noted that president Tinubu has made a very good and commendable choice in Chief Sunday Dare noting that the former minister has excelled in all his previous engagements, with the required experience to add to the already existing media team that would continue to crest the awareness on the milestone achievements of the Tinubu administration.

He said, “Chief Sunday Akin Dare is an illustrious media mogul whose nearly three decades experience from both local and international media organizations has excelled him to stand out in his other assignments.

“President Tinunu made a perfect choice in Chief Sunday Dare, having garnered lots of experience in the media industry. He is a very big asset to the president in the area of media communication and national orientation with his return to a very familiar terrain.

His vast experience has made him very exceptional in his service to his country, especially his recent assignment as minister of Youth and Sports development, where he brought in reforms that relaunched Nigeria into a major continental and world sporting nation.

“I have no doubt that Chief Sunday Dare will once more showcase his skill and wealth of experience in his new assignment, having performed above expectations in his previous ones.”
