Djiboutian side, FC Dikhil has rewarded former FC Bethel Sporting goalkeeper, Jimo Godwin with a one year contract extension following his blistering performances for the team in his first season with the club.
Godwin kept an incredible ten (10) clean sheets in seventeen (17) matches to help his side maintain 5th position in the Djibouti Premier with just a game to go.
The big ex- Inter Lagos shot stopper’s overall contributions for the club in the season did not go unnoticed, which the team has now decided to extend his deal, we are told.
In a post on X formerly known as Twitter by the club, with the headline: Great News, FC Dikhil Supporters!, the club wrote that “Our goalkeeper, Jimo Godwin extends the adventure with FC Dikhil for the next season.
“Together let’s keep aiming higher!”, the post read.
The full details of the deal were still sketchy by the time of this report, but it can be confirmed that the brilliant goalkeeper will be in the colours of the club come next season.
