Members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Benue State council have hailed the State Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia for appointing one of their own, Kula Tersoo as his Chief Press Secretary (CPS).
The Chapel made the commendation in a congratulatory message to Kula, who is a former Chairman of Correspondents’ Chapel in the state. The message was signed by Tor Vande-Acka, Chairman and Secretary, Titus Atondu in Makurdi on Monday.

The Chapel which pledged to work with the CPS to ensure he succeeds in his assignment, also told the governor that through the office of the CPS, it would project the policies and programmes of the state government.
According to the message, the Correspondents said “The Executive Committee and entire members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the NUJ, Benue State chapter heartily felicitate with you on your appointment as the CPS to the Executive Governor, Rev Fr Hyacinth Iormem Alia, PhD.
“Sir, your appointment is well deserved, taking into cognizance your vast skills and high experience garnered over the years in the journalism practice.
“As a one-time Chairman of our chapel, we pledge our unflinching support and cooperation to you to ensure that you succeed in office and pray God Almighty to give you wisdom to perform exceedingly well in office.
“We also wish to use this opportunity to appreciate His Excellency, Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia, the Executive Governor of Benue State for finding Kula Tersoo worthy of this appointment.
