Hon. Salisu Sabo, has appealed to the Federal Government of Nigeria to take special interest in people with disability in our society.

He made this appeal in Abuja on Wednesday when he visited the victorious Deaf Super Eagles of Nigeria in their camp to join them in their celebration for lifting the West African Deaf football trophy for the 6th time.

The visit coincided with Hon Salisu Sabo’s birthday, hence he used the opportunity provided to to make it a double celebration with the team. To show that he meant business, the Salisiyya humanitarian movement crooner, donated assorted cartons of soft drinks and table water to the players who in turn sang a happy birthday song for him as a sign of appreciation.
Meanwhile, Deaf Eagles head coach, Kamiludeen Banjo, in his welcome address, thanked Hon Salisu Sabo for considering it worthy to come and celebrate his birthday with the team and used the opportunity provided to table the team’s challenges to Hon. Sabo.

Having heard their complaint, the 2027 forward Ahmed Tinubu campaign organisation leader, pledged to push their demands to the the National Sports Commission for action.
He thanked the players for making Nigeria proud by winning the WADSU trophy for the 6th time.
“You have proven yourselves as worthy ambassadors of Nigeria.
You made Nigerians proud and made yourselves proud as well.
That is why I decided to come down here and celebrate with you.
Today is my birthday and there is no better way to celebrate it than coming down here to celebrate it with you.
Keep doing what you know how to do best and in my capacity as leader of the Salisiyya movement, I will do all within my powers to send your message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu through the National Sports Commission.
My appeal right now is for you to be focused and not be discouraged”.
Hon. Sabo assured them that their labour will never be in vain.
