    BY RAYMOND NWADUBA

Baring any last minute ditch of plans, Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen may finally be on his way to Stamford Bridge, as English Premier League side, Chelsea is said to still be keen in signing him.
According to top journalists, Fabrizio Romano and David Omstein who both twitted few hours ago about a possible deal being brokered by both clubs, thereby shedding fresh light on the Osimhen transfer malady that had gone cold after lingering for months.
First Fabrizio twitted “Napoli keep looking for solutions for Victor Osimhen as they want to bring in Romelu Lukaku as soon as possible.
“Understand Napoli could also be open to discussing Osimhen as part of Lukaku talks with Chelsea.
“Osimhen said yes to PSG, but deal in stand-by between clubs”, he wrote.
Then Omstein collaborated the report with this twit: “Napoli in ongoing talks with Chelsea to sign Romelu Lukaku while discussions between #SSCNapoli & #CFC also taking place about move for Victor Osimhen in opposite direction.
“Lukaku would be permanent, Osimhen season-long loan + buy option @TheAthleticFC”, he twitted.
Recall that Osimhen has been a transfer target for many top European clubs such as Chelsea, Arsenal and PSG.
The reigning African footballer of the year award winner scored 26 Serie A goals for Napoli and 31 goals in all competitions as they won the Scudetto title two seasons ago after 33 years of asking.
He also scored 15 goals last season in the league and 17 goals with four assists in all competitions despite suffering some injury lay offs.
