Chelsea are keen on having 23-year-old Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface in their ranks ahead of next season.

According to Sport BILD via Sport Witness, Chelsea is in need of attacking reinforcement ahead of next season. The Blues are desperate to have a new number nine leading their lines next season, and they have their eyes on Victor Boniface.
The 23-year-old has been doing wonders for Bayer Leverkusen in his very first season at the club. He arrived last summer from Union SG as the Bundesliga club forked out €20.5 million for his services.
Since completing the move, he has scored goals for fun and has been a key figure in Xabi Alonso’s team. Boniface has 16 goals and eight assists in his 23 outings. He has 17 goal contributions in his 16 league outings and is one of the major reasons for their dominance in the Bundesliga.
Bayer Leverkusen is on top of the German top flight, and they have been unbeaten since the start of the season, having played 32 games in all competitions. Boniface has played an integral part in their outstanding run, and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
