Wednesday at Stamford Bridge Chelsea took football to another level despite the meaningful efforts put in by Celtic yet Chelsea made there irresistible pressure bring them into the quatre final again by trashing Celtic with 3-1 victory. It all began with a world class volley from Lucy Bronze as Sjoeke Nusken and Catarina Macario combined in a short corner on the edge of the box. None other than Lucy Bronze would meet the looping cross, sending her strike first time into the back of the net. who didn’t allow the ball to see the ground before her right balance foot message the ball into Celtic net and the delivery wobbled the net and startled the crowd.

Following was a super header from
Wieke Kaptein in the 24th minute, as a short corner combination allowed Guro Reiten the time to message a cross into the area. A nicely timed run from Wieke Kaptein had her caught up with the ball into the net with her super header, that left Celtic with no chance but embrace their defeat and fate.

And at second half, it was worsen with a penalty from Eve Perisset who sealed up the match confirming their inevitable victory. The Late drama saw the hosts through with a penalty, Shannon McGregor’s handball inside of the area gave the third goal to Eve Perisset who stepped up to the spot, with world class a penalty kick that final put off the visitors from any chance of response as time left them helpless.

Chelsea has claimed their spot at the top of their group, qualifying into the next round of the European competition. Celtic however, are still left waiting for a point at the bottom of the standings.
