CAF is going all out to revamp its game.

Following the drama-filled AFCON final in Morocco, they’re implementing some major changes to prevent future chaos. The goal? Restore credibility and trust in African football.

The plan involves appointing top-notch judges and lawyers to the Disciplinary and Appeal Boards, with input from member associations and zonal unions.

CAF Prez Patrice Motsepe says they’re working with FIFA to train referees, VAR operators, and match commissioners to global standards – and paying them properly, too.

This overhaul aims to put an end to unacceptable incidents and boost confidence in African football officials. Guess we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out.
