The Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) President-General, Comrade Bunu, extends warm wishes to women worldwide on International Women’s Day, praising their strength and significance.

He described women as  precious gift, making the world a more beautiful place. Credited them for bridging gaps and making life meaningful.

Comrade Bunu emphasized that without women, life would be boring and unmeaningful, urging MWUN women and all women globally to remain strong.

He noted that women are the salt of the earth, and their presence makes the world a more lovable place

According to a press statement by the head of the media team, Comrade Ikemefuna John Kennedy – The President -General of the Maritme Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) is wishing women across the globe Happy International Women’s Day.

The PG of the Union is saluting the strength and power of women on this day describing them as the most precious gift the Almighty God has bestowed on the planet earth to make the world a beautiful place to reside.

He said that the absence of women on this planet would have been very boring; hence, the Creator Himself recognized that the presence of women will bridge the gap to make life more enduring, meaningful, enjoyable and lovable.

The Maritme Labour leader also describes women as wonderful and significant species to men, saying that without them life would be boring, unpleasant and unmeaningful; noting that the replication of man on earth wouldn’t have been possible.

While speaking on a platform to mark this day, Comrade Bunu says women are the salt of the earth in which without them, the world would have been hollow and completely empty.

While greeting all the women across the world today, he also specifically made mention of his own women in the Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria, urging them not to relent to be that strong woman they are all expected to be especially in the comity of women across the world, adding that he’s always proud of them female Comrades.
