Benin City, the Edo state capital is set to witness the birth of a new Football Academy aimed at Discovery talents and norturing them to stardom.
Come Saturday the 18th day of January 2025, the Norrod Abbott Global Football Academy will be officially introduce to the people of Edo state when the official launching of the Academy comes up.
The event will hold at the Famous Uwa Primary school sports Ground, along igbesamwan Road of First East circular Road, Benin City by 12noon.
The ceremony will have stakeholders of the game,. coaches, Ex-players, chairman and Executive members of the Edo state sports Commission and many other invited personalities in attendance.
According to the chief executive officer of the Norrod Abbott Global Football Academy, Mr Onoriode Onyen, the Football academy is aimed at scouting for talented players between the ages of 7 to 16 years, and take them out of the shores of Nigeria to broaden their skills and expose them to international Football, adding that the Academy will focus on developing such talented players and manage them through the right channel as the Norrod Abbott Global Football Academy is equipped with quality staff and management to norture the players.
Onoriode however ask the general public to be at the uwa primary school sports ground on January 18th 2025 to support the Academy official launching slated for 12noon.
