Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City are amongst the clubs racing for RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo, reveals Nicolo Schira.
The 26-year-old notched four goals and five assists in the Bundesliga last season, attracting the interest of several top European clubs in the process. It is reported that Olmo has a release clause of €60m, which is valid until July.
It has been reported that Manchester City are keen to add to their midfield options this summer, with Kevin de Bruyne entering the final year of his contract at the club, and Saudi Pro League clubs circling. Bernardo Silva also faces an uncertain future at the Etihad Stadium, which makes Olmo an even more attractive proposition to the Premier League champions.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have also been heavily linked with Olmo, who has previously been reported to be keen on a move to the Catalan giants. However, the Spanish club have well-documented financial struggles which could see them struggle to finalise a move for Olmo.
Manchester United are also interested, with the Red Devils expected to add to their attacking options this summer. Olmo’s versatility at either the wing or as a striker could make him an attractive prospect for United.
