Mario Balotelli, the Italian football star, joined Victor Osimhen on Instagram Live to celebrate the Nigerian striker’s historic goal that helped SSC Napoli win their first Scudetto in 33 years.

Balotelli praised Osimhen’s achievement and said that the young striker has not fully realized the significance of what he has accomplished. “Trust me, you did something incredible, my friend. You still don’t know what you did,” Balotelli said as quoted by pulsesportsnigeria.

“You will realize in years, not tomorrow, not next year, in ten years you will understand what you did, it is unbelievable.”

Osimhen scored the decisive equalizer against Udinese in Udine, securing the crucial point Napoli needed to clinch the Scudetto with five matches to go. The goal was Osimhen’s 22nd of the season in Serie A and highlighted his importance and key role in Napoli’s rise to the top of Italian football. Balotelli was impressed by Osimhen’s achievement and encouraged him to enjoy the moment and soak in the experience.

Osimhen, who was understandably elated, shared his joy on Instagram, and was joined by Balotelli and other friends, including Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Boniface, for the celebration. Balotelli, who has played for some of the top football clubs in Italy, including AC Milan and Inter Milan, praised Osimhen for his performance and urged him to visit the city of Napoli to witness the celebrations firsthand.

In conclusion, Balotelli’s praise of Osimhen’s achievement and his urging to enjoy the moment and soak in the experience reflects the importance of the Nigerian striker’s goal in Napoli’s Scudetto win. Osimhen’s performance was instrumental in Napoli’s success, and his goal will be remembered for years to come as a crucial moment in the history of the club.
