Association of Club Owners Honour Obaseki With Life Patron Award
The management of the Association of Club owners, organisers of the Benin City Youth League under the able Leadership of Dauglas Idahosa during the week honoured the Chief medical Director of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital ( UBTH) Professor Darling Obaseki with a life time patron Award.
The event which held at the office of the sports loving Professor, had in attendance Members of the Association Youth club owners, chairman Dauglas Idahosa, ken Ugbodaga secretary of the body and many others.
In his speech, chairman of the Association, Dauglas Idahosa said the award on Professor Darlington Obaseki is informed by the invaluable contributions of the Sports Loving chief medical Director of the UBTH towards Youth Football development in the state.
” We are here to give you this award because of your contributions towards youth Football in the state, you have done so much for the game and we recognise all that hence this award from us, Dauglas Idahosa said.
In his response, the CMD thanked members of the Association of Club owners organisers of the Benin City Youth League for the Award, and promise to associate with the body.
“I want to thank you for this award, this will spur me on to do more for the game of football, your Association is the type I would want to associate with given what you are doing to develop Football in the state, please keep doing your best for the game, Obaseki stated.
The Association of Club owners, organisers of the Benin City Youth League will on June 26th 2024 kick start the 4th Edition of the Benin City Youth League with Fourteen teams participating.
