World Record holder in 100m Hurdles Oluwatobiloba Amusan of Nigeria has improved on her Season’s Best to12.47s.
She recorded the time at the Ostrava Golden Spike in the Czech Republic, after coming 3rd in a star-studded low hurdles event.
Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico won the 100m Hurdles in a Meet Record of 12.42s, beating American Tia Jones who came in 2nd in 12.44s.
South African speedster Akani Simbine won 100m Men in 9.98s warding off his closest challenger, European Indoor Champion Samuele Ceccarelli of Italy in 10.15s and Canada’s Andre de Grasse (10.21s) in 3rd.
Zambia’s Muzala Samunkonga won the 400m Men’s race in 45.05s to clinch 5 out of 6 races this season.
With a Meet Record of 3:57.38, Diribe Welteji of Ethiopia won the women’s 1500m.
