In form Almere City of Netherlands right wing back, Hamdi Akujobi has been nominated in the Elftal Van De Week, which otherwise is the Team of the Week for week 22 in the Dutch Eredivisie..
Akujobi has been consistent every season, churning five star performances after another in the colours of his decent club, Almere which though is struggling this season with relegation.

The 24 year old outstanding form definitely has not gone unnoticed as his all round superlative displays have landed him another team of the week recognition.
“I’m very happy to get this recognition which means that people are watching and that my efforts are being appreciated.
“This has spurred me to even do more. I will keep working hard, keep giving my best to help rescue this club.

“We may be in a very tight situation right now but I don’t think it’s impossible. With more drive, determination and hard work we can escape the drop”, he noted.
Almere city is in the last position in the 18 teams league table.
