The Chairman of the Delta State Football Association, Hon. Godwin Adode, has rallied Team Delta to put up a spirited performance against the Nigeria U17 Flamingo in the final of the female football category at the 2024 National Sports Festival tagged Gateway Games.
Despite a narrow 0-1 loss to the Flamingo in the group stage, where a legitimate goal was disallowed, Hon. Adode believes Team Delta has what it takes to turn the tide and emerge victorious.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 4 pm at the MKO Abiola Stadium.
The Delta State Football Association Chairman’s charge is expected to galvanize the team to give their all and make the state proud. The final promises to be an exciting encounter between two determined teams.
