Abia Warriors are looking to turn their fortunes around when they host Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin in a crucial Matchday 14 fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The Warriors have had a bit of a rough patch, drawing at home to Enyimba and losing to Bayelsa United, which has dropped them from the top three spot.

However, the Umuahia Warlords are hungry for success and are determined to recover lost points.

Their opponents, Bendel Insurance, have gathered some momentum after their last home win over Kano Pillars, making this a potentially thrilling encounter.

-Abia Warriors: 0.9 goals scored per game, 0.7 goals conceded
    – Bendel Insurance: 0.9 goals scored per game, 1.2 goals conceded

    Current League Standings:

Abia Warriors: 4th position, 22 points after 13 games
    – Bendel Insurance: 19th position, 12 points after 13 games

    Injury Update:

    – OUT: Skipper Augustine Njoku, Ayodele Ezekiel, and Emmanuel Ogbuagu

    – IN: Shedrack Asiegbu, Chukwuemeka Obioma, and Imoh Obot

The match is scheduled to take place at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday, with kickoff at 16:00 hours local time. Tickets are available online or at the stadium gate
