After thrashing China 6-1 in their last group game of the ongoing Women World Cup, The Three Lionesses of England will face the Super Falcons of Nigeria in t the round of 16 with high hopes but the question on t lips of most Nigerians is whether the former African champions will withstand the free scoring reigning European champions.
The round of 16 clash, which will be played on Monday August 7, was confirmed after England thrashed China 6-1 in their final Group D game on Tuesday.
The win took England to nine points after three games and also top of the group.
