Regulators of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), have announced the rearrangement of some Matchday 17 fixtures, including those to be broadcast live.

A circular to this effect sent to Chairmen and General Managers of the affected clubs, and seen by Radio Nigeria Sports shows that the rearrangements affected venues and dates of the following seven fixtures, and those penciled down for live transmission:

Heartland vs Insurance of Benin is now to Kick-off at 4pm, at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, in Owerri on December 15th; just as the Benue-Plateau derby between Lobi Stars of Makurdi, and Plateau United of Jos is to be played in Lafia on December 14th starting from 4pm.

Eryimba Int’l FC vs Nasarawa United FC has been rescheduled to December 15th, in Aba, with Kick-off at 4pm; and Rivers United will host Kwara United FC in Port Harcourt on the same day, December 15th. Kick-off time remains 4pm.

Katsina United vs Rangers Int’l FC on December 14th kicks off at 5:30pm in Katsina; same time when Shooting Stars SC will be slugging it out with Kano Pillars FC at the Lekan Salami Stadium, in Adamasingba, Ibadan, on December 15th.

Two fixtures, Niger Tornadoes Vs Sunshine Stars of Akure at the Bako Kotangora Memorial Stadium in Minna (Live); and the encounter between El-kanemi Warriors and Abia Warriors of Umuahia, in Maidugiri, are confirmed for December 15th; and will both kick-off at 3pm.

Another Live game, Ikorodu City vs Remo Stars in Lagos, holds on December 14th, with 3pm as Kick-off time; while Bayelsa United and Akwa United FC are to face off in Yenagoa starting from 4pm.

The circular signed by the NPFL Chief Operating Officer, Prince Davison Owumi urged match officials, and the concerned states’ Football Associations to note the rescheduling, and comply, by ensuring that adequate logistics are put in place for hitch free games.
