The two teams literally lit up the arena, and the women’s category on Monday, in an end-to-end affair, that also saw both sides score freely, in a game that produced a whopping 84 goals; with Imo Grasshoppers clinching a well-deserved 43-41 victory over an equally entertaining and deserving COAS Babes.

Elsewhere, Benue Buffaloes of Makurdi and promoted Sunshine Kings of Ondo played out a 23-23 draw; and the day’s show stopper saw Rima Strikers of Sokoto inflict a 28-26 defeat on the reigning champions, Niger United of Minna.
