NFF President Unveils Preseason Tournament For NNL Clubs

In a landmark move, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Ibrahim Musa Gusau launched the NFF President Preseason Tournament for Nigerian National League (NNL) clubs. The event aims to revitalize grassroots football, providing a competitive platform for second-division clubs to prepare for the upcoming season.

Gusau emphasized his commitment to football development, particularly at the grassroots level. “This competition marks a new chapter in reshaping Nigerian football’s future,” he said. The tournament, championed by Babs Integrated Services and the Kaduna State Football Association, will run from November 12-20, 2024, at Ahmadu Bello Stadium.

Former football star Tijani Babangida, CEO of Babs Integrated Services, praised Gusau’s proactive approach and pledged to make the tournament an annual event. With strong backing from the NFF, Babs Integrated Services, and the Kaduna State FA, this tournament promises to boost Nigerian football.
