Team Delta state will take on the Team Nigeria National League(NNL) and the Nigeria Football Federation( NFF)
as part of program in the 2023 playoff of the Nigeria National League tagged Asaba Super 8.
The match will be played at the Stephen keshi stadium Asaba before the finals of the NNL Super 8.
Some notable players that have indicated interest to feature for Team Delta State are Ogo Clarkson, Peterson itowe, former Warri Wolves chairman Moses Etu, Delta Queens Coach, Tosan Bob Blankson, Coach of Warri Wolve, Jolomi Atune,Goal keeper trainer of Fc One, Harry Blankson,former Super Eagles defender Sam Sodje to mention a few.
The NNL playoff tagged Asaba 2023 Super 8 will kickoff 1st of July. With eight teams, namely DMD Fc Borno, Effc Abuja, Katsina utd and Kano Pillars from the northern conference, while Sporting Lagos, Heartland Fc , Fc One Rockets and Stormers Fc of Abeokuta doing battle in the southern conference.
However, the Chief Operating Officer, COO of the NNL, Emmanuel Adesanya expressed appreciation to the Delta state Government for playing out in time of need.
Adesanya assured that the best team will pick the ticket for promotion to the Nigeria Premier League,NPL.
