After 47 years of hosting , Gothenburg is set to host
the 25th serie of World Masters Athletics Championships.
The event is billed for
August 13 to 25, 2024, in Gothenburg Sweden.
This is the 25th in a series of World Masters Athletics Outdoor Championships
The Championships
offers free entrance for competitors from all around the world.
One of the arenas where the championship takes place is Ullevi.
The World Masters Athletics Championships is a major event with about 8,000 participants.
Competitors come from over 100 different nations , all are over 35 years of age
Gothenburg has hosted the championship before, in 1977 at Slottsskogsvallen , It’s another time after 47 years.
