    BMW IBSF World Championships 2024 Update

    As the ongoing International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation (IBSF) World Championships in Winterberg, Germany hits up , Skeleton athletes are in tough sled competition .

    Canadian Skeleton athlete Hallie Clarke is surprisingly leading in her group going into the second day of the BMW IBSF World Championships 2024 in Winterberg.

    After the first two of a total of four World Championship races in the women’s skeleton, the 19-year-old athlete, U20 World Champion in 2023, came out on top of the field.

     

     

     

     

     

    Men’s Skeleton athletes:

    Olympic Champion versus defending World Champion:

    The top duel in the men’s skeleton looks at the halfway point of the BMW IBSF World Championships 2024.

    After two of four race runs in Winterberg, Christopher Grotheer, Olympic Champion in 2022 and two-time World Champion (2020 and 2021), is just ahead of Great Britain’s Matt Weston (0.04 seconds back), who won the World Championship title in 2023.
