Super Falcons and Pachuca’s new signing Chiwendu Ihezuo was on target for her team as they dispatched Mazatlan 5-0 in the Mexican Women’s league.

Her debut goal came just before half time when she tapped home from Destinee Manzo’s delivery.

An elated Ihezuo after the game hailed her teammates for making it easy to settle.

“A wonderful outing for the team and myself, coming here was an easy choice to make. I want to thank my teammates for making it easy, thanks to my sister Ohale for the love. Feel happy to score my first goal for the club .”

Ihezuo recently signed a one-year deal with Pachuca from C.F  Monterrey.

During her time at Monterrey, she scored 10 goals in 25 appearances.

The former African Women Cup of Nations winner is the second Nigerian in the ranks of Pachuca with Osinachi Ohale being the first.

Pachuca are currently first on the log with a better goal difference.
