    30 Days to Kickoff: African Legends, Featuring Okocha, Kanu, and Adebayor, Take on Barça Legends

    In just 30 days, the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja will host a highly anticipated football spectacle as African Legends, led by Jay-Jay Okocha, Nwankwo Kanu, and Emmanuel Adebayor, face off against Barça Legends in the Champions Cup. The match, scheduled for October 25, promises to be an electrifying encounter between two teams packed with football legends.

    The African Legends team boasts an impressive lineup, featuring some of the continent’s greatest footballers. Jay-Jay Okocha, widely regarded as one of the most skillful African player of all time, will lead the team. Okocha’s illustrious career includes stints at Paris Saint-Germain, Bolton Wanderers, and Fenerbahçe, earning him global acclaim for his dazzling dribbles and flair.

    Nwankwo Kanu, a two-time African Footballer of the Year, brings an equally impressive résumé, including a UEFA Champions League title with Ajax and two Premier League titles with Arsenal. Emmanuel Adebayor, the 2008 African Footballer of the Year, and Alex Song, a two-time Cameroonian Footballer of the Year, will reinforce the African line-up, which is rich in experience from Europe’s top leagues.

    The Barça Legends team features a star-studded lineup, including world-renowned names such as Ronaldinho, Ludovic Giuly, Javier Saviola, Jesús Angoy, Marc Valiente, Fernando Navarro, and Roberto Trashorras. This team promises to be a formidable opponent for the African Legends.

    The Champions Cup match will take place on October 25 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, starting at 3 pm. The game is organized by the Attom Foundation, with proceeds going towards empowering the girl child. Fans will have the opportunity to meet their football idols up close in a fan meet and greet event.

    A gala night is being organized to support the cause, featuring an elegant evening of dining, networking, and generosity. The proceeds from the gala will directly support programs for the girl child.

    The Attom Foundation has teamed up with ZMB Homes and WGI to raise awareness for the empowerment of the girl child. The Champions Cup match and gala night promises to be an unforgettable experience, with football fans and philanthropists coming together to support a worthy cause.
