The Ladies in Sports International (LIS) is set to host its 10th-anniversary summit, marking a decade of promoting female participation and excellence in sports. The two-day event will take place on June 12th and 13th, 2025, at the Balmoral Event Center in Ikeja, Lagos.
The summit promises to be an impactful and unforgettable experience, featuring inspiring panel sessions, workshops, exhibitions, and a mini concert. The event will also provide opportunities for networking and collaboration among women in sports.
Key government officials, including Nekechi Obi, Chairman of the Nigerian Women’s Football League Board, and members of the Nigerian Cricket Federation’s record-breaking U-19 World Cup women’s team, are expected to attend.

The LIS International has made significant strides in promoting women’s empowerment in sports, having given grants to over 20 Nigerian women athletes and educated women with skills and tools for their careers.
