    WAFCON Final: National Council of Women Societies Azura Assures of Falcons’ Victory

    The President of the National Council of Women Societies NCWS Princess Edna D. D Azura has described the national female football team the Super Falcons as not only elegant but are warriors who are ready to conquer every opposition.

    Princess Azura, who in Abuja, celebrated the Super Falcons victory over South Africa in the semi-final of the ongoing Women s African Cup of Nations WAFCON in Morroco, described the victory as a reflection of the resilient spirit of the Nigerian women .

    The Super Falcons had qualified for the final of the competition after defeating the defending champions the Bayana Bayana of South Africa by two goals to one..

    Princess Edna Azura, who had reflected her excitement after the Super Facons drubbing of the Zambians by five goals to nothing, watched the semi-final encounter on television alongside a large group of women filled with excitement and prayers.

    She called on the Super Falcons to realise that they are not alone in their mission X goal as millions of Nigerians are hopeful and prayerful for their victory.

    The National President of NCWS urged the Super Falcons to beat the host country, Morocco, on Saturday and lift the cup for the celebration of millions of Nigerians and especially the nation s first lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu who remains steadfast tin her commitment to advancing the interests of Nigerian women and children
