The Special Adviser to the President (Media and
Public Communications), Chief Sunday Dare CON FNIS, has commiserated with the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde, over the passing of his eldest brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.
In a statement released on Friday, Chief Dare described late Makinde as an accomplished and disciplined Engineer, patriotic and devout Christian, who devoted his lifetime to the service of God and humanity.
“His Excellency sir, I received the news of the demise of your beloved eldest brother Engineer Sunday Makinde with shock, but I am consoled by the fact that he lived a life of dedicated service to God and humanity.
He was an accomplished and disciplined Engineer, patriot and devout Christian, who made significant contributions to the development and progress of Nigeria within his capacity.
I and my beloved wife,Chief (Mrs) Oluwakemi Dare commiserate with you, the deceased wife, children and the entire family.
May God Almighty grant you and the entire family the fortitude to bear the painful loss and grant him peaceful rest”, Chief Dare concluded.
