Rwanda League champion APR FC has announced the capture of the former Nigeria Premier League striker Victor Mbaoma on a 2-year deal.
Mbaoma arrived in Rwanda last weekend after helping Katsina United back to the Nigeria Premier League, scoring vital goals for them in the Super 6 playoff.
Mbaoma will get the chance to feature in the CAF Champions League with APR next season.
With Mbaoma’s imminent arrival at APR, the club hopes to bolster its attacking prowess and elevate its performance in both domestic and international competitions.
The Nigerian striker’s experience and skillset will be crucial as the team strives for continued success in the Rwanda Premier League and beyond.
He has previously ha stints with Remo Stars, Akwa United and Enyimba before securing a move to MC Algiers.
Mbaoma eventually made an international debut for the Super Eagles in 2021, featuring in a 2-1 defeat to Mexico, and he also made a substitute appearance against Ecuador.
