The Director General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Hon. Bukola Olopade, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithfuls across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his goodwill message, Olopade commended the dedication, discipline, and devotion demonstrated by Muslims throughout the month of fasting and prayer.

He emphasized the importance of reflecting on the values of compassion, unity, and generosity that the season promotes.

“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I encourage all Nigerians to embrace the spirit of peace, love, and tolerance,” Olopade said. “The values of sacrifice and compassion that Ramadan teaches should continue to guide our actions, fostering harmony and unity in our society.”

The NSC DG also acknowledged the role of sports in promoting unity and inclusivity, highlighting its power to bring people from diverse backgrounds together.

He called on citizens to remain committed to fostering peaceful coexistence and supporting initiatives that promote national development.
