After overcoming Bendel Insurance 2-1 to end their unbeaten run, Rivers United are eyeing a successful defence of their title by upsetting Enyimba in the final day of the ongoing Nigeria Premier League Super 6 in Lagos today.

Goalkeeper of the Pride of Rivers and Super Eagles invitee Victor Sochima, immediately after the game against Bendel Insurance made it clear that they are poised for victory in the final game on Sunday.

Rivers United will confront Enyimba International in the final game of the playoffs to determine the eventual winners of the league.

But the Super Eagles goalie remained optimistic that they will come out on top of the game.

“We are looking forward to victory, any game against Enyimba is a big game. Come on Sunday we are going to finish the job we started.

“Our target is to top the table and retain our trophy and we are on course for that, so on Sunday we will do it”, he said.
